Outside Sales Coordinator

Outside Sales Coordinator  at Rustic Pathways

The Position

The Outside Sales Coordinator is responsible for the total outreach and net sign ups in a given geographic territory, which involves constant travel on the road or based in a large city visiting peripheral areas. Their goals are to plan and book their route in partnership with their regional team, seek new clients, meet formally with current and prospective clients, and distribute literature. Some territories require that this person is on the road for much of the year, so we are looking for someone who is looking for a professional adventure.


  • Perform professional presentations, generate leads, and distribute literature about Rustic Pathways’ offerings at schools, fairs, conventions, home visits, and open houses
  • Represent the company as respectful and knowledgeable ambassadors of our teams around the world
  • Establish and maintain long-term in-person relationships with schools 
  • Generate sales and find new opportunities for growth
  • Maintain and develop a sales region and portfolio of schools, organizations, and contacts
  • Regularly participate in initiatives and activities of other sales teams including inside sales, personal travel advisors, gap year, groups, and human resources
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years of relevant sales experience and 1-3 years and/or relevant student leadership & travel experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Business, Non-Profit Management, or other related field, or equivalent work experience with some college.
  • Requirements:
    • Travel, leadership, and/or education with high school students
    • Professional working proficiency in English and additional languages are a plus
    • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work legally in the US or other regions as needed
  • Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities :
    • Travel, learning, education, and/or sales background
    • Personal experience in student travel as student or leader
    • Passion for international travel
    • Appreciation of diversity in cultures and experiences
    • Understanding of the value of experiential education and travel for high school students
    • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Adaptable and flexible personality
    • Eager to learn from colleagues
    • Enjoys open collaboration and teamwork
    • Interested in a fast-paced, rapidly developing role with opportunity for growth and ownership
